How to become a professional film eco consultant?
The application of sustainable audiovisual production rules will soon become mandatory for the film industry throughout Europe, including Slovakia. Also public funding institutions in Slovakia are gradually preparing for the introduction of certain changes in the conditions of support. This year, Audiovisual Fund (AVF) is already offering support for the active involvement of an eco consultant in the production of an audiovisual work.
On the basis of this fact professional know-how is needed, which increasingly represents an important additional qualification.
That is why the RTVS Bratislava Creative Centre, in cooperation with the Audiovisual Fund (AVF) and the Slovak Film commission (SFC), is preparing a certified five-day training course How to Become a Professional Film Eco Consultant. The training is organized within the Talent Development Programme - 1.1 Creative Studio, it will be held at the premises of RTVS, Mlynská dolina from 3/10 - 7/10/2022.
Participants of the training course will receive a certificate of completion and will be included in the SFC database. The condition for receiving the certificate is completion of the entire workshop and submission of the short thesis in the form of an environmental plan for the assigned fictional film/television project.
