Changes in registration deadline for the cash rebate scheme

In connection with the registration of new film projects, for which the applicants plan to draw financial resources to support the audiovisual industry in 2023, the office of the Audiovisual Fund points out that applications for the registration of such projects must be delivered to the fund by August 1, 2022 at the latest.

In consideration of the deadlines of the administrative process related to the registration of film projects, the fund office cannot guarantee applicants that new film projects for which applicants deliver applications to the fund after August 1, 2022, will be part of the list of film projects granted the support in 2023. The projects that will not be mentioned in the list after the approval process is through, will be granted the support in 2024.

This notice does not apply to registered film projects for which the fund has already issued a valid registration certificate in the previous period. For these registered film projects, the fund's office continuously updates the estimated drawdown for the respective budget year.
