Slovak Film Commission and Brehm & v. Moers Presentation and Panel Discussion: Slovakia as a Service Hub for Foreign Productions

On 15 February 2026, a presentation and panel discussion: The Brehm & v. Moers and Slovak Film Commission took place at Fotografiska in Berlin.

The event focusing on Slovakia as a service spot for foreign productions, with particular emphasis on German projects. The discussion highlighted financial incentives, production infrastructure, and practical experiences from recent collaborations.

The event was opened by Zuzana Bielikova with a presentation outlining the conditions and opportunities for filming in Slovakia.

The presentation was followed by a panel discussion that further explored the topic a was inspired by two recent German projects – the TV series “Hohenfelden” (Studio Zentral) and the feature film “Adam’s Acht” (Ninety-Minute Film) – both of which selected Slovakia as their main production base in 2025. The panel focused on Slovakia’s current production landscape, available financing models, and key practical aspects for German producers working abroad.

Moderated by BvM partner Katharina Domnick, the conversation also highlighted Slovakia’s competitive cash rebate scheme and the broader advantages the country offers to international productions.

The discussion featured Zuzana Bieliková (SFC), Udo Happel (Executive Producer, Studio Zentral), Fabian Glubrecht and Rastislav Kuril (co-founders and producers, Film Slovakia, s. r. o.).
