Energy Star

Profile:

Energy Star is an international standard for electronic devices with reduced power consumption. It was established in 1992 as an optional program of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under the US Federal Government. Ten years later, in 2002, it was also introduced in Europe. Today, it has an irreplaceable place in Australia, Japan, Taiwan and New Zealand, among others, and is the world's most recognized proof of energy efficiency.
