Beňatina Lake
Beňatina Lake is a unique natural landmark located near the village Beňatina, near the Ukrainian border. It is a former travertine quarry, which was flooded by clear groundwater thus creating a beautiful turquoise lake, reminiscent of the famous Plitvice Lakes in Croatia.
