Bratislava Castle
Bratislava Castle stands on the rocky hill of the Little Carpathians directly above the river Danube in the middle of Bratislava. The location provides an excellent view of Bratislava, Austria and, in clear weather, parts of Hungary. It is an iconic massive rectangular building with four corner towers. Due to its size and location, it has been the dominant feature of the city for centuries. The castle has a rich history associated with many legends.
