Sádok

Sádok is a local part of the village Klátova Nová Ves in the district Partizánske.
The local part is famous mainly for the Romanesque Church of Our Lady Queen of Angels built at the beginning of the 12th century, later rebuilt several times with a valuable Romanesque and Renaissance interior. Next to the church there is a skeletal burial ground with tombstones from the 12th-14th century.  The church in Sádov also inspired Slovak director Martin Šulík, who in 1991 shot scenes for his debut film Neha (The Tenderness).
