The National Cultural Monument of the M.R.Štefánik Mound (inscribed on the European Cultural Heritage List) stands on the highest peak of the Myjava Uplands near the town of Brezová pod Bradlom. It is a truly monumental building on a plateau on top of a hill and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside.
