Festival de Cannes and Marché du film give you an opportunity to meet talented Slovak filmmakers and producers while also catching up with Slovak cinema at market screenings.

One Slovak film is part of the festival's programme: Electra, a short animated film directed by Daria Kashcheeva and co-produced by Juraj Krasnohorský of Slovak company Artichoke, was selected for La Cinef.

Market screenings schedule include Mariana Čengel Solčanská’s The Chambermaid, Tereza Nvotová’s Nightsiren, and White Plastic Sky by Tibor Bánóczki and Sarolta Szabó (once again, produced by Juraj Krasnohorský).
